Our proposal for the site called ‘LEX’ in Walsall consists of a few simple, coordinated ideas to complement this site surrounded by water in Walsall. The roof is shaped and carved to allow light into the courtyard throughout the year while the residential building at the tip of the site slopes sharply back to reduce its shadow on the site.
